Basic information will be collected when using the services of LIVE Online
Math. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Student Name
- Student Email
- Records of academic progress when enrolled in a class
- Student birthdate and sex (optional)
- Other informatoin such as casual interests
Information is obtained when a customer account
is created and also when a "My Classes" account is created. Information is also obtained during live online class or tutorin
sessions and through parent communication (via email, phone, or online session).
Use of Information
Information is used for informing
parents or entities the parent has given consent to notify of academic progress. Student contact information will also
be used to inform students of class happenings and/or changes in the way they access the online classroom, recordings, or other pertinent
information they need to use the services of the Company.
Where a parent has authorized the Company to release records of academic
progress to third parties (i.e. Parent Partnerships in Washington state), the Company may disclose that information. Otherwise,
the information will be confidential.
Parental Rights and Agreements
The Company will not require a child to disclose more information
than is reasonably necessary to participate in the services the Company offers as a condition of participation.
